Munis (first two pādas), then Narrator (last pāda)
Tirtha: Setukṣetra / Setubandha
Type: kshetra
Scene: Sages exhort Rāma: ‘You yourself should do the atonement for loka-saṅgraha, unprompted.’ Rāma listens with humility; the assembly is solemn yet devotional.
Leaders must practice visible self-correction; prāyaścitta is undertaken not only personally but to uphold social and spiritual order (lokasaṁgraha).
Setukhaṇḍa’s sacred setting underlies the teaching, but the verse highlights exemplary dharma rather than a named tīrtha.
The prescription is to undertake prāyaścitta voluntarily for lokasaṁgraha; details are to be determined in the subsequent dialogue.
