FAQs

A true tīrtha is validated by the continual presence of devas and sages and by its capacity to purify the worlds.

The loka-pāvana tīrtha just introduced in Adhyāya 12—connected with Maṅgala-tīrtha and its lake.

No explicit rite; it emphasizes the tīrtha’s sanctity through the regular pilgrimage of devas and ṛṣis.
