Transliteration

samānagotrapravarāṃ kanyāmūḍhvopagamya ca | tasyāmutpādya cāṃḍālaṃ brāhmaṇyādeva hīyate

Translation

Si un homme épouse et s’unit à une jeune fille de même gotra et de même pravara, et qu’il engendre en elle une descendance, cet enfant devient un caṇḍāla; et lui-même déchoit de la brahmanité (de l’état de brahmane).
