Transliteration a̱yáṃ ve̱náś codáyat pṛ́śnigarbʰā̱ jyóti̱r jarāyū́ rájaso vimā́ne | imám apā́ṃ saṅgamé sū́ryasya śíśuṃ na víprā matíbʰī rihanti | upayā́magṛhīto'si márkāya tvā
Translation Ce Vena a mis en mouvement (la lumière) à l’embryon tacheté, l’éclat avec son enveloppe, dans la région mesurée de l’espace aérien. Au confluent des eaux, au lieu de rencontre du Soleil, les sages le lèchent, comme un enfant, par leurs pensées. «Tu es saisi avec l’upayāma; pour la Markā (libation, breuvage) — toi.»
