Determination of the Measures of Time

मासस्त्रिंशदहोरात्रैर्दिव्यो मानुषवत्स्मृतः । संवत्सरो ऽपि देवानां मासैर्द्वादशभिस्तथा

Transliteration

māsastriṃśadahorātrairdivyo mānuṣavatsmṛtaḥ | saṃvatsaro 'pi devānāṃ māsairdvādaśabhistathā

Translation

Un mois (divin) est tenu pour composé de trente jours et trente nuits, selon la même mesure que chez les humains. De même, une année des dieux est dite formée de douze mois semblables.
