Cosmic Event: Cosmogony/emanation of the universe from innate divine powers (śakti-traya).
It affirms the Shaiva Siddhanta view that Shiva (Pati) is inherently endowed with divine powers—knowledge, strength, and action—by which He manifests, sustains, and governs the cosmos, while remaining transcendent.
The Linga is worshipped as the sign of the Supreme whose unseen, innate energies operate everywhere; Saguna worship helps the devotee contemplate these powers as Shiva’s conscious governance rather than as merely impersonal nature.
Meditate on Shiva as the source of jñāna-śakti and kriyā-śakti while repeating the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), offering bilva leaves to the Linga with the intention of purifying knowledge, will, and action.
