उपमन्युतपः-निवारणप्रसङ्गः / Śiva restrains Upamanyu’s tapas (Śiva disguised as Indra)

Vayu
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Mahādeva
Role: liberating
It shows Mahādeva as Pati (the Supreme Lord) who maintains cosmic order through compassionate restraint, directing even other devas toward their proper dharmic station.
Mahādeva’s personal action—protecting order and removing disturbance—reflects Saguna Śiva’s grace as the accessible Lord worshipped in the Liṅga, who governs the world while guiding devotees toward tattva (true understanding).
The takeaway is inner restraint (saṃyama) and disciplined return to one’s sādhana—supported by japa of the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and steady observance of niyamas.
