De nouveau, après la transformation intermédiaire (d’état), l’obtention de cette station suprême est proclamée. Et la désignation du Soi intérieur est ce premier ensemble de cinq noms.

Role: teaching
It teaches that liberation is the re-attainment of the highest state—Shiva’s supreme station—when inner transformation ripens, and that this realization is expressed through foundational ‘five names’ that point to the inmost Self.
Though phrased philosophically, it supports Saguna worship (like Linga-upasana) as a means to inner change (parivṛtti) that culminates in realizing Shiva as the supreme Pati, beyond limitation—i.e., the ‘tatpada’ that devotion and discipline aim toward.
A steady contemplative practice: repeat Shiva’s mantras with attention to the indwelling Self, using japa and meditation to foster inner transformation, so the mind becomes fit for ‘tatpada-prāpti’ (attainment of the supreme state).
