Inquiry into Pramāṇa, Divine Autonomy, and Grace

Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
It defends Śiva’s impartiality: pain and disparity are not divine cruelty but consequences of the bound soul’s (paśu’s) nature shaped by karma and bondage (pāśa); liberation comes by turning to Pati through right knowledge and grace.
By affirming Śiva as faultless and compassionate, it supports approaching the Liṅga (Saguna Śiva) as the accessible form of Pati who removes bondage—devotees worship not to blame God for suffering, but to purify karma and receive Śiva’s anugraha (grace).
Reflect on karma and surrender to Śiva through japa of the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) and steady Liṅga-dhyāna, cultivating responsibility for one’s actions while seeking Śiva’s grace for release from pāśa.
