Shiva Purana — Vayaviya Samhita, Shloka 29

Suivre cette juste injonction est le signe d’une véritable nature de sādhū. Mais chez celui dont la contemplation est inversée (égarée), cela ne se manifeste pas en tous points.

FAQs

It defines sādhubhāva (the character of a true spiritual person) as faithful alignment with right instruction; mere inner absorption is not reliable if the mind’s contemplation is misdirected away from truth and dharma.

Linga/Saguna-Śiva worship is meant to discipline the mind and conduct according to Śiva’s śāsana; when devotion and ritual are aligned with right teaching, they mature into steady contemplation, rather than becoming a self-willed or distorted ‘samādhi’.

Practice japa of the Panchākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) with ethical restraint and scriptural discipline; let outer observance (pujā, vrata, purity) and inner meditation agree, so contemplation is not ‘viparīta’ (misaligned).
