Significance: Śravaṇa–kīrtana of Śakti-prabhava narratives is presented as a merit-producing sādhana that ripens the bound soul (paśu) toward Śiva’s grace (anugraha), yielding both laukika (progeny) and pāramārthika (puṇya) fruits.

It functions as a phalaśruti (statement of spiritual benefit), affirming that steady daily recitation of Śakti-born sacred teaching purifies karma and accumulates puṇya, supporting dharma and inner upliftment under Pati (Śiva) through His Śakti.
In Shaiva practice, devotion to Śiva is inseparable from His Śakti; recitation of Śakti’s glory strengthens saguna-bhakti that culminates in steadiness of worship—often expressed as Linga-upāsanā supported by mantra and praise.
A simple daily discipline is implied: regular pāṭha (recitation) with bhakti. It can be paired with japa of the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and a brief Linga-dhyāna, as a consistent nitya-sādhana.
