Equality of the Trimūrti and Maheśvara as the Supreme Cause

It declares Shiva as the Supreme Self who transcends and governs both Prakṛti (bonding nature) and Puruṣa (the bound experiencer), showing that creation is not a compulsion but Shiva’s līlā—thus the seeker should turn from bondage to the Lord who alone can bestow grace and liberation.
By affirming Shiva’s Īśvaratva (lordship), the verse supports Saguna worship—such as Linga-upāsanā—as a valid approach to the transcendent Self: the formless Supreme is approached through the Lordly, worshipable form that rules the cosmos and dispels bonds.
Meditate on Shiva as Īśvara beyond Prakṛti and the individual self, and reinforce it through daily Linga worship with Panchākṣarī japa (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) and vibhūti (Tripuṇḍra) as a reminder of transcendence over worldly bondage.
