Il est la Personne invincible, le Héros ; Celui au teint sombre, le Conquérant, le Seigneur des créatures. Il est Parjanya, celui qui donne les pluies, et le surveillant des richesses — en vérité, cet univers entier Lui appartient.

The verse affirms Shiva as Pati—the supreme Lord who governs life, victory, rain, and prosperity—so the devotee shifts reliance from limited powers to the one all-pervading Master of the jagat.
By listing divine functions (creation, protection, nourishment), it supports Saguna contemplation: the Linga is worshiped as the one Shiva who manifests all cosmic offices while remaining the supreme Lord beyond them.
Meditate on Shiva’s all-lordship while repeating the Panchakshara “Om Namaḥ Śivāya,” offering water (jalābhiṣeka) as a symbol of Parjanya (rain/nourishment) and surrendering desires for wealth and security to Him.
