Tattva Level: pashu
It contrasts the heavy suffering born of pāpa (sinful karma) with the lightness of saṁsāra for the dharma-minded, implying that righteous orientation purifies bondage quickly and turns the soul toward Shiva’s grace and liberation.
In Shaiva practice, dharma-buddhi naturally expresses itself as devotion and right conduct—service to Shiva, reverence to the Linga, and disciplined living—through which karmic burdens reduce and the pull of bhava weakens.
Adopt dharma-centered daily conduct supported by Shaiva sādhanā—japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), worship of the Shiva-Linga, and regular purification practices like bhasma (Tripuṇḍra) and Rudrāksha where appropriate.
