Là, mon mariage fut dûment célébré sur l’ordre de Parameṣṭhin (Brahmā). Avec une joie empreinte d’amour, Viṣṇu, Brahmā et les autres êtres divins le fêtèrent comme une grande solennité.
Lord Shiva
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Umāpati
Shakti Form: Pārvatī
Role: nurturing
Offering: pushpa
It presents Shiva’s līlā within cosmic order: even the Supreme Lord participates in dharma, and divine events become occasions for devotion (prīti) and auspicious celebration that uplifts the worlds.
By portraying Shiva in a personal, narratable form (Saguna), the Purana supports bhakti—devotees approach the same Lord who is also worshipped as the Linga, the timeless sign of the Nirguna beyond form.
The verse implies utsava-bhakti: celebrate Shiva’s līlās through pūjā, kīrtana, and remembrance, repeating the Panchakshara mantra “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” with joyful devotion.
