Nandikeśvara: Incarnation, Consecration, and Marriage—Description
Ganesha
Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Tripurāntaka
It expresses śaraṇāgati (surrender): Ganeśa asks the Lord’s purpose and seeks direct command, showing that spiritual power is perfected through obedient service to Pati (Śiva), not through egoic action.
By addressing Śiva as Tripurārdana and Kāmadā, the verse focuses on Saguna Shiva—worshipped with names and forms—who responds to remembrance (smaraṇa) and grants direction and grace to devotees.
The implied practice is smaraṇa and ājñā-anusaraṇa: remember Shiva with His epithets (e.g., Tripurārdana) and act according to dharma under His guidance; this can be supported by japa of “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” with bhakti.
