Sur l’ordre de Sūrya, cette part sublime se rendit auprès de Sugrīva. Ayant dûment reçu l’injonction de sa mère, le plus éminent des singes—part incarnée de Rudra—se mit en route ainsi.

The verse highlights how a Rudra-aṃśa (a partial manifestation of Śiva) acts in harmony with divine ordinance and dharma—showing that spiritual power is fulfilled through disciplined obedience and purposeful service rather than ego-driven action.
By identifying the hero as a Rudra-aṃśa, the text reinforces Saguna Śiva—Śiva manifesting with attributes and forms to guide beings. Remembering such manifestations supports devotional focus (bhakti) toward Śiva’s accessible, grace-bestowing forms, as in Liṅga worship.
A practical takeaway is sankalpa with the Panchākṣarī—silently repeating “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” while cultivating niyama (discipline) and obedience to righteous duty, offering one’s actions to Rudra as seva.
