Après un bref instant de réflexion, le sage muni Viśvānara loua Vīreśa et déclara : «Ce Liṅga accorde promptement un fils.»
Suta Goswami (narrating to the sages at Naimisharanya)
Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Vīrabhadra
It presents Śiva’s Liṅga as a living focus of grace (anugraha): even worldly aims like progeny are fulfilled when approached through reverent devotion, aligning the householder’s desire with dharma under Śiva’s lordship (Pati).
The verse explicitly praises a named Liṅga—Vīreśa—showing Saguna worship where Śiva is approached through a consecrated form; the Liṅga becomes the accessible doorway to Śiva’s blessings while pointing to His transcendent reality.
A practical takeaway is focused Liṅga-pūjā with sincere sankalpa (vow/intention), supported by Shaiva basics such as japa of “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” and devotional offering (abhisheka) as appropriate to one’s tradition.
