शिवस्तुतिवर्णनम् (Śiva-stuti-varṇanam) — “Description of Hymns in Praise of Śiva”

It declares Śiva as the one supreme Pati who performs creation, preservation, and dissolution by assuming functional forms; realizing this unity behind the guṇas supports devotion and loosens bondage to changing nature (prakṛti).
The Liṅga signifies the one Lord beyond form (nirguṇa) while also being worshipped with attributes (saguṇa); this verse explains that even Brahmā, Viṣṇu, and Hara are Śiva’s saguṇa functions operating through the guṇas.
Meditate on Śiva as the indwelling ruler of the three guṇas and repeat the Pañcākṣarī mantra (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) with steady awareness that all cosmic functions return to the one Lord.
