Bāṇa’s Renewed Engagement in Battle

It highlights nāda (sacred vibration) as a manifestation of divine power: a single impulse can pervade the whole cosmos, indicating Shiva’s all-pervading lordship even when expressed through a visible, saguna event.
Just as the Liṅga signifies Shiva’s presence beyond form, this verse shows that a tangible sign (the bow’s twang) can reveal the formless, all-pervading reality—guiding devotees from outer symbol to inner omnipresence.
Meditate on nāda through japa of the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), listening inwardly to sound as a support for concentration—letting the mind become “pervaded” by remembrance of Shiva.
