बाणासुरस्य शङ्करस्तुतिः तथा युद्धयाचनम् | Bāṇāsura’s Praise of Śiva and Petition for Battle
दानवेन्द्र महाबाहो पश्यपश्यैनमत्र च । यद्युक्तं स्यात्तत्कुरुष्व न दुष्टा वयमित्युत
dānavendra mahābāho paśyapaśyainamatra ca | yadyuktaṃ syāttatkuruṣva na duṣṭā vayamityuta
«Ô seigneur des Dānavas, toi aux bras puissants, regarde, regarde-le ici ! Fais ce qui est juste et convenable. En vérité, nous ne sommes point des méchants», dirent-ils.
