Tripuramohana — “The Delusion/Enchanting of Tripura”

The verse highlights how māyā can obstruct dharmic observances—like snāna and dāna—especially on sacred days, reminding devotees that steadfast devotion to Shiva (Pati) must remain firm even when outer rites are disturbed.
When festival-time rites are disrupted, the devotee is taught to rely on the essential act of Shiva-upāsanā—inner remembrance, mantra, and Linga-oriented devotion—rather than depending only on external arrangements that māyā can disturb.
Maintain japa of the Panchākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) and steady dhyāna on Shiva even if parva-day bathing/charity is hindered; the core practice is uninterrupted remembrance beyond obstacles.
