शुक्रस्य जठरस्थत्वं तथा मृत्युशमनी-विद्या (Śukra in Śiva’s belly and the death-subduing vidyā)

The verse praises steady discipline—like daily Vedic study—and emphasizes śraddhā (faith) expressed through timely dāna to worthy recipients. In a Shaiva Siddhanta lens, such dharmic action purifies the paśu (bound soul) and supports grace-oriented progress toward moksha.
Linga worship in the Shiva Purana is typically paired with dharmic supports—śraddhā, right conduct, and offerings. Giving to brāhmaṇas at proper times is presented as an allied act that strengthens devotion to Saguna Shiva and makes one’s worship fruitful and orderly (vidhi-yukta).
The practical takeaway is regular sacred study/recitation and disciplined charity done with faith and proper timing. As a Shaiva practice-set, this pairs well with daily Panchakshara japa (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and simple, rule-based offerings before or after worship.
