शङ्खचूडदूतागमनम् — The Arrival of Śaṅkhacūḍa’s Envoy
and Praise of Śiva
अथासौ शंखचूडस्य दूतः परमशास्त्रवित् । उवाच शंकरं नत्वा करौ बद्ध्वा शुभं वचः
athāsau śaṃkhacūḍasya dūtaḥ paramaśāstravit | uvāca śaṃkaraṃ natvā karau baddhvā śubhaṃ vacaḥ
Alors l’émissaire de Śaṅkhacūḍa —versé dans les plus hautes règles de conduite— se prosterna devant Śaṅkara et, les mains jointes avec révérence, prononça des paroles de bon augure.
