शिवदूतस्य शङ्खचूडकुलप्रवेशः — The Śiva-Envoy’s Entry into Śaṅkhacūḍa’s City
यस्योपरि प्रयायी स्यात्स वीरो भुवेनऽधमः । अतः पूर्वमहं रुद्र त्वां गमिष्याम्यसंशयम्
yasyopari prayāyī syātsa vīro bhuvena'dhamaḥ | ataḥ pūrvamahaṃ rudra tvāṃ gamiṣyāmyasaṃśayam
Celui qui s'avance devant un autre et se dit héros est, en ce monde, le plus vil des hommes. C'est pourquoi, ô Rudra, je marcherai devant toi — cela ne fait aucun doute.
