Devas Go to Vaikuṇṭha and Praise Viṣṇu’s Avatāras
Suta Goswami (narrating the Rudra Saṃhitā to the sages at Naimiṣāraṇya)
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Dakṣiṇāmūrti
Type: stotra
Role: liberating
It praises Śiva as the supreme teacher and the very embodiment of liberating knowledge; by His grace, the soul attains clarity, calmness, and readiness for mokṣa.
Although it points to Śiva’s highest, transcendent wisdom, devotees approach that truth through Saguna worship—such as Linga-pūjā—where reverence and mantra mature into inner illumination (jñāna) and serenity.
A simple practice is jñāna-oriented japa: repeat “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” with contemplation of Śiva as jñānarūpa, seeking ātmā-saṃprasāda (inner stillness); this can be paired with Tripuṇḍra (bhasma) and Rudrākṣa as supportive Shaiva disciplines.
