Fear of the Gods after Tripura’s Burning and Brahmā’s Praise
Sanatkumara
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Type: stotra
The verse highlights bhakti expressed through stuti and humility: even Brahmā bows to Śiva as Bhaktavatsala, showing that true spiritual authority culminates in surrender, reverence, and inner quiet after sincere praise.
Śambhu is approached as Saguna Shiva—personally responsive and compassionate to devotees. The posture of añjali and bowed shoulders reflects the devotional approach used in Linga worship: praise, surrender, and respectful stillness before the Lord.
Offer a short stuti to Shiva, then remain silent in añjali (hands joined), cultivating humility and steady attention; this sequence—praise followed by quiet surrender—functions as a simple meditative practice aligned with Shiva-bhakti.
