शिवतत्त्ववर्णनम् (Śiva-tattva-varṇana) — “Description/Exposition of the Principle of Śiva”
स्तुतोऽहं यत्त्वया विष्णो ब्रह्मणा मेऽवतारणे । प्रार्थनां तां करिष्यामि सत्यां यद्भक्तवत्सलः
stuto'haṃ yattvayā viṣṇo brahmaṇā me'vatāraṇe | prārthanāṃ tāṃ kariṣyāmi satyāṃ yadbhaktavatsalaḥ
«Ô Viṣṇu, puisque toi et Brahmā M’avez loué au moment de Ma manifestation, J’accomplirai assurément cette prière, en vérité, car Je suis à jamais plein de tendresse pour Mes dévots.»
