Description of the Origin/Manifestation of Viṣṇu

अभिधत्ते स चकितं यदस्तीति श्रुतिः पुनः । सत्यं ज्ञानमनंतं च परानंदम्परम्महः

abhidhatte sa cakitaṃ yadastīti śrutiḥ punaḥ | satyaṃ jñānamanaṃtaṃ ca parānaṃdamparammahaḥ

La Śruti proclame encore—avec stupeur mais avec certitude—qu’« Il existe véritablement ». Cette Splendeur suprême est Vérité, Connaissance consciente et Infini ; elle est la Béatitude la plus haute et la Grande Lumière transcendante.

It affirms, through Śruti, the certain existence of the Supreme Pati (Śiva) whose nature is Truth, Consciousness, Infinity, and supreme Bliss—pointing the seeker toward liberation through right knowledge and devotion.

Though describing the Nirguṇa Supreme as infinite light and bliss, the Shiva Purana teaches that the same Reality is approached in practice through Saguna worship—especially the Śiva-liṅga—so the mind can steadily contemplate the formless Truth.

Meditate on Śiva as the ‘supreme light’ while repeating the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), and support the contemplation with Śiva-pūjā and Liṅga-dhyāna to internalize satyam–jñānam–anantam.
