इत्युक्त्वास्त्वसंशयं सर्वं शंकरसद्यशः । शतनामशिवस्तोत्रं सदानन्यमतिर्जप

Reciting Śiva’s hundred names is a saguna upāsanā (devotional practice with attributes) that supports focused worship of the Liṅga, stabilizing the mind in Śiva’s auspicious qualities and drawing the devotee toward His grace.
