Alors elle le contempla, et son visage, tel un lotus, rayonna de joie. La dame, la plus accomplie et au teint lumineux, posa cette guirlande à son cou.

Tattva Level: pashu
Offering: pushpa
The garland-offering expresses bhakti through a tangible act of honor, showing that devotion becomes complete when inner joy and reverence are embodied in respectful worship of Lord Shiva.
Garlanding is a classic upacāra (service) of Saguna Shiva worship; the same attitude is applied to the Śiva-liṅga—adorning and offering with devotion—affirming Shiva’s gracious accessibility to loving service.
Offer a flower garland (mālā) as part of pūjā with a focused mind, optionally accompanying the offering with japa of the Pañcākṣarī mantra “Om Namaḥ Śivāya,” cultivating reverence and surrender.
