शिवागमन-नाद-समागमः (Śiva’s Advent, the Drum-Sound, and the Cosmic Assembly)
Brahma (narrating to the sage, within the Rudrasaṃhitā creation narrative)
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Significance: Highlights īśvara-ājñā (divine command) as the ordering principle by which beings return to their dhāmas—an image of cosmic governance (sthiti) under Śiva’s lordship.
It highlights Śiva as Pati—the supreme Lord whose ājñā (command) harmonizes the cosmos—so that beings, once their purposes are fulfilled, return to their rightful realms in peace and joy.
Though the verse is narrative, it reinforces Saguna Śiva as the personal Lord who issues compassionate governance; Linga-worship similarly centers on aligning one’s actions with Śiva’s will and receiving His grace for order, fulfillment, and liberation.
A practical takeaway is ājñā-anusandhāna—living in obedience to Śiva through daily japa of the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and offering devotion so one’s goals become purified and ultimately fulfilled by His grace.
