शिवागमन-नाद-समागमः (Śiva’s Advent, the Drum-Sound, and the Cosmic Assembly)
Suta Goswami
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Mahādeva
Type: stotra
Offering: pushpa
It emphasizes that even the greatest devas, led by Viṣṇu, approach Śiva through darśana (beholding), namaskāra (bowing), and stuti (praise), highlighting humility and surrender to Pati as the gateway to grace.
The verse models Saguna upāsanā: approaching Śiva in a perceivable form, offering añjali, bowing, and hymns—core elements also used in Liṅga-pūjā through darśana, namaskāra, and recitation of stotras.
Practice añjali with a bowed head before Śiva (or the Śiva-liṅga), and recite a simple stuti such as the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” with reverence and inner surrender.
