Tattva Level: pasha
Cosmic Event: secondary creation (vaṃśa/prasava) through Prajāpati Dakṣa’s lineage-ordering
It frames dharma as a cosmic principle sustained through sacred lineages; the mention of Śraddhā (faith) first hints that inner faith is foundational to righteous living and to devotional orientation that ultimately matures toward Śiva-bhakti.
Though not directly about the Liṅga, it belongs to the Sṛṣṭi narrative that sets the moral and ritual order in which worship operates; in Shaiva understanding, dharma and faith become supports for approaching Saguna Śiva through prescribed worship and discipline.
The verse implies śravaṇa (reverent listening) as a practice—hearing sacred names and teachings with śraddhā—an essential devotional discipline that complements mantra-japa (such as the Pañcākṣarī, Om Namaḥ Śivāya) in Shaiva practice.
