हंस-वराह-रूपग्रहण-कारणम्
The Reason for Assuming the Swan and Boar Forms
सिसृक्षोरथ मे प्रादुरभवत्पापसर्गकः । अविद्यापंचकस्तात बुद्धिपूर्वस्तमोपमः
sisṛkṣoratha me prādurabhavatpāpasargakaḥ | avidyāpaṃcakastāta buddhipūrvastamopamaḥ
Lorsque je désirai créer, surgit de moi la création nommée « pāpa-sarga », le sombre courant de l’asservissement. Ô cher ami, c’était l’Avidyā en cinq formes, précédée de Buddhi, pareille à une nuit épaisse.
