It highlights that worldly capacities like eloquence and fulfilled desires can arise through karma, yet they may still be accompanied by afflictions—showing the need to seek Shiva (Pati) for liberation beyond mixed karmic fruits.
It implies that external success is not the final refuge; devotion to Saguna Shiva through Linga worship steadies the mind and redirects desire toward Shiva, reducing the bondage of fluctuating karmic outcomes.
Japa of the Panchākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) with mindful restraint of speech, along with simple Shiva-upāsanā (e.g., Tripuṇḍra/bhasma and daily Linga worship), is a practical remedy for anxiety and grief.
