(Sandhyā-caritra-varṇanam) — “Narration of Sandhyā’s Austerity and Encounter with Śiva”

It highlights Śiva (Pati) as the indwelling Lord who, through grace, awakens the soul’s inner knowledge—transforming ordinary perception into divine insight and right understanding.
Linga worship trains the devotee to move from outer form (saguna upāsanā) to inner realization—Śiva as present in the heart—where true jñāna and purified speech arise by His blessing.
Meditative inwardness (eyes gently closed) with Shiva-oriented japa—especially the Panchākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”—seeking divya-dṛṣṭi (inner sight) and divya-vāk (truthful, purified speech).
