तपश्चर्तुमहं ब्रह्मन्निर्जनं शैलमागता । ब्रह्मणोहं सुता जाता नाम्ना संध्येति विश्रुता
tapaścartumahaṃ brahmannirjanaṃ śailamāgatā | brahmaṇohaṃ sutā jātā nāmnā saṃdhyeti viśrutā
«Ô Brahman, je suis venue sur cette montagne solitaire pour accomplir le tapas. Je suis née fille de Brahmā et je suis connue sous le nom de Sandhyā.»

The verse highlights tapas performed in solitude as a purifying discipline—reducing distraction and ego—so the seeker becomes fit for divine grace, a key Shaiva Siddhanta emphasis where effort supports, but does not replace, Shiva’s anugraha (grace).
