नभोवाणी-दक्ष-निन्दा तथा सती-माहात्म्य-प्रतिपादनम् / The Celestial Voice Rebukes Dakṣa and Proclaims Satī’s Greatness

Que tous les autres—les sages, les nāga et le reste—quittent sur-le-champ cette enceinte sacrificielle. Sinon, votre ruine viendra sûrement aujourd’hui, de toute manière.
Lord Shiva (Rudra), issuing a warning in the Daksha-yajna context
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Rudra
Sthala Purana: The warning expands from devas to all participants (munis, nāgas, others): Śiva’s saṃhāra is not indiscriminate, but it is unavoidable for those who remain complicit in an adharmic rite.
Significance: Pilgrimage ethic: avoid ‘aparādha’ in sacred rites; withdraw from adharma and seek Śiva’s refuge to avert spiritual and karmic downfall.
It teaches that ritual (yajña) without reverence for Pati (Shiva) becomes spiritually dangerous; when ego and disrespect rule, dharma collapses and suffering follows.
The verse contrasts external sacrifice with submission to Saguna Shiva’s will; true worship centers on honoring Shiva (often through Linga-upāsanā) rather than prideful ritual display.
The takeaway is humility and Shiva-prasāda-buddhi: regular japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and Shaiva marks like bhasma/tripundra as reminders to avoid ego and disrespect.
