कामशापानुग्रहः (Kāmaśāpānugraha) — “The Curse and Grace Concerning Kāma”
ततः सर्वान्स मदनो मोहयित्वा पुनःपुनः । यथेन्द्रियविकारं त प्रापुस्तानकरोत्तथा
tataḥ sarvānsa madano mohayitvā punaḥpunaḥ | yathendriyavikāraṃ ta prāpustānakarottathā

It highlights how desire (Kāma) operates as a binding force by repeatedly stirring sensory modifications (indriya-vikāra), keeping beings in delusion and away from steady Shiva-oriented awareness.
By showing the instability produced by desire, the verse implicitly points to stabilizing the mind through Saguna Shiva worship—Linga-pūjā, mantra-japa, and devotion—which purify the senses and redirect them toward Pati (Shiva).
Sense-restraint supported by Panchakshara japa ("Om Namaḥ Śivāya") and regular bhasma (tripuṇḍra) application as reminders of detachment can counter repeated sensory agitation.
