Lord Shiva
Tattva Level: pasha
Shiva Form: Umāpati
Sthala Purana: Within Satīkhaṇḍa’s Devī-centered narrative, ‘she’ is the power associated with karmaphala-pravṛtti; the verse is not a shrine legend but a theological statement about the operative principle behind karmic fruition.
Significance: Frames Devī-śakti as the regulator of worldly karmic outcomes; remembering her in the heart is recommended as a stabilizing devotional discipline that turns karmic life toward Śiva’s favor.
Shakti Form: Satī
Role: nurturing

Linga worship in the Shiva Purana is not merely external; it is fulfilled when the devotee holds Shiva-Shakti in the heart. Remembering the Goddess alongside Shiva aligns Saguna worship with the inner reality of divine unity.
A simple takeaway is daily heart-centered dhyāna: repeat the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and contemplate the presence of Shakti (Sati/Parvati) abiding within, supporting all karmic fruition and leading toward Shiva’s grace.
