Transliteration

adha caitrasite pakṣe nakṣatre bhagadaivate | trayodaśyāṃ dine bhānau nigacchatsa maheśvaraḥ

Translation

Puis, durant la quinzaine sombre du mois de Caitra, sous l’astérisme dont Bhaga est la divinité tutélaire, au treizième jour lunaire, tandis que le Soleil poursuivait sa course, Mahādeva (le Seigneur suprême) se mit en route.
