The verse centers on śaraṇāgati (surrender): Dakṣa seeks the Goddess’s kṛpā (grace), acknowledging her as Jagadambā (cosmic mother) and Satya-svarūpiṇī (Truth embodied). In a Shaiva Siddhanta lens, liberation and right understanding mature through divine grace, not mere pride or ritual status.
Though addressed to the Goddess, the praise reflects Saguna worship within Shaiva tradition—honoring the divine in accessible form and qualities (motherhood, eternality, truth). Such devotion supports reverence toward Shiva’s Saguna manifestations (including the Liṅga) by cultivating humility and receptivity to grace.
A practical takeaway is devotional namaskāra and prayer for kṛpā—reciting hymnic salutations with a truthful, repentant mind. This can be paired with Shaiva daily practice such as japa of “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” and inward contemplation on satya (truthfulness) as a discipline.
