Viṣṇu’s Manifestation and Brahmā’s Hymn
Vishnu
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Type: stotra
Role: teaching
It establishes scriptural certainty: true teaching dispels भ्रम (delusion) and is validated by both Veda and Āgama—supporting the Shaiva Siddhanta emphasis on right knowledge leading toward Shiva-realization (moksha).
By appealing to Veda and Āgama together, the verse legitimizes Āgamic modes of Shiva worship—especially Linga-upāsanā and Saguna forms—while grounding them in ultimate truth (paramārtha).
The practical takeaway is to follow Veda-Āgama-aligned Shiva sādhanā—such as japa of the Panchākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and disciplined worship—because it is taught as delusion-destroying and scripturally confirmed.
