The verse invokes a sacred remembrance of revered goddesses and exemplary women, highlighting that honoring Śakti and dharmic ideals supports purity of mind and devotion in the Shaiva path.
In Shaiva narrative, devotion to Śiva is complete when joined with reverence for Śakti; remembering these divine forms aligns the devotee to Saguna worship where Śiva is adored together with His power (Śakti).
A practical takeaway is nāma-smaraṇa (recollection of sacred names) as part of daily pūjā—reciting such names before Linga worship, alongside mantra-japa (e.g., Om Namaḥ Śivāya) to steady the mind.
