गोत्र-प्रवर-प्रश्नः तथा तिथ्यादि-कीर्तनं
Gotra–Pravara Inquiry and Proclamation of Auspicious Time
तस्मात्त्वया शिवा तात सुविचार्य प्रयत्नतः । न कर्तव्यो विमर्शोऽत्र त्वेवंविधवरे मनाक्
tasmāttvayā śivā tāta suvicārya prayatnataḥ | na kartavyo vimarśo'tra tvevaṃvidhavare manāk
Ainsi donc, cher enfant, réfléchis avec soin et de tout ton effort à Śivā (Pārvatī). En cette affaire, n’entretiens pas la moindre hésitation ni le plus léger doute, car tu es digne et apte à une telle union.
