एभिस्समेतो जगदेकबन्धुर्ययौ तदानीं परमेशवर्चसा । सुसेव्यमानस्सकलैस्सुरेश्वरैर्विकीर्यमाणः कुसुमैश्च हर्षितैः
ebhissameto jagadekabandhuryayau tadānīṃ parameśavarcasā | susevyamānassakalaissureśvarairvikīryamāṇaḥ kusumaiśca harṣitaiḥ

The verse presents Śiva as jagad-eka-bandhu—Pati who compassionately relates to all beings—showing that divine radiance (parameśa-varcas) draws even the devas into humble service; it highlights grace and bhakti as the natural response to Śiva’s presence.
The imagery of reverent attendance and flower-showers reflects Saguna upāsanā—devotional honoring of Śiva with visible offerings; such pūjā, whether to the Liṅga or to a manifest form, expresses surrender and invokes Śiva’s auspicious anugraha (grace).
Offer flowers with mantra-japa (especially the Pañcākṣarī, “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) and cultivate inner ‘service’ (seva) through humility—seeing Śiva as the world’s true refuge and benefactor.
