Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Umāpati
Shakti Form: Pārvatī
Role: nurturing
Offering: pushpa
It shows bhakti expressed as reverent hospitality: Himālaya’s joyful effort to invite Śiva reflects the soul’s longing to draw near to Pati (the Lord), where love and right intention become a sacred means of grace.
The verse emphasizes approaching Śiva as personally present (Saguna)—to be welcomed and invited—mirroring how devotees invite Śiva through pūjā and āvāhana, whether in the Liṅga or in a cherished personal form.
Adopt the mood of āvāhana and upacāra: mentally invite Śiva with devotion, offer respectful worship, and accompany it with japa of the Pañcākṣarī mantra “Om Namaḥ Śivāya.”
