अनरण्यसुता–पिप्पलादचरितम् / The Episode of Anaraṇya’s Daughter and Sage Pippalāda
अहं तवान्तरं ज्ञातुमागतस्तव सन्निधिम् । तवाहञ्च मनो जाने तथापि विधिनोदितः
ahaṃ tavāntaraṃ jñātumāgatastava sannidhim | tavāhañca mano jāne tathāpi vidhinoditaḥ
Je suis venu en ta présence pour connaître ce qui demeure en toi. Je connais déjà ton esprit; pourtant, poussé par l’ordonnance du destin et l’ordre divin, je parle et j’interroge.
