It highlights Shaiva Siddhanta’s central principle that true spiritual joy arises when the heart is purified and the soul becomes a fit recipient of Śiva’s anugraha (grace), which uplifts and illumines the devotee from within.
The verse underscores that the fruit of Saguna Śiva worship—such as reverence for the Śiva-liṅga with devotion and right understanding—is the descent of grace, experienced as peace and ānanda by sincere, purified seekers.
Cultivate amalāśayatā (purity of intention) through steady japa of the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), along with simple Śiva upāsanā such as bhasma/Tripuṇḍra and inward contemplation on Śiva’s compassionate anugraha.
